Terms & Conditions

These are the general terms for direct enquiries and reservations. Your confirmed dates, price, guest count, inclusions, payment schedule and booking-specific conditions form part of your reservation agreement.

Enquiry vs. Confirmed Reservation

Submitting a website form or WhatsApp enquiry does not by itself confirm a reservation. A booking is confirmed only after Layanila communicates confirmation and any required payment or deposit conditions are satisfied.

Rates & Inclusions

Rates may vary by dates, group size, extra beds, length of stay, events, driver accommodation, houseboat choice and other requested services. The quotation or booking confirmation issued for your reservation is the final reference for price and inclusions.

Payments

Any deposit, balance due date and accepted payment method will be communicated during booking. Availability should not be considered held indefinitely without satisfying the stated payment requirement.

Cancellation, Changes & Refunds

The cancellation, date-change and refund conditions applicable to a reservation will be provided with the quotation or booking confirmation before payment. Third-party houseboat, transport, catering or other services may also have their own cancellation conditions. Guests should review the booking-specific policy before paying.

Guest Count & Extra Beds

The reservation should state the correct number of adults and children. Larger groups are welcome to enquire; extra beds, sleeping arrangements and any related charges must be confirmed in advance.

Events & Special Use

Parties, celebrations, wedding-related stays, photography, commercial use and other special arrangements require prior approval and may involve additional conditions or charges.

Houseboats & Third-Party Services

Houseboat cruises and some local services may be supplied by independent providers. Weather, navigation restrictions, government directions or provider operations may affect an experience.

Guest Responsibility

Guests are responsible for complying with the confirmed booking conditions and house rules and for the conduct of their group. Material damage, exceptional cleaning or loss attributable to the group may be charged where appropriate.

Applicable Requirements

Bookings remain subject to applicable Indian and Kerala laws, identification requirements and lawful directions of competent authorities.
